Administrative Officer (Agrochemicals)
Do you have a knack for navigating regulatory landscapes and bringing products to market? ECOM Nigeria is looking for an Administrative Officer to support our agrochemical product lifecycle in Lagos.
GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION:
The Administrative Officer is responsible for overseeing the company’s product registrations, renewals of relevant certificates, product sampling and launch, quality compliance, etc. This position also serves as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, including manufacturers, regulatory bodies, research institutes, and legal counsel. Summarily, key accountabilities are under the supervision of the business head and in collaboration with relevant internal teams and external bodies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product development, registration, and modification.
Regulatory bodies and research institutes' engagement.
Coordination with product manufacturers.
Coordination with the company's legal luminaries for notarization, trademark, and other legal matters.
Product labels and marketing materials development and design.
Product trials and field demonstration.
To provide timely and accurate market and competitor intelligence and updates, and recommend suitable strategies.
Market and competitors’ survey and intelligence gathering.
Develop and manage a functionally robust quality compliant management system.
Ensure a functioning digital marketing for products.
Collaborate with the products procurement and logistics teams for timely product clearing and delivery.

Any other job-related duties assigned.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
HND or Bachelor's in Agronomy, Biology, Chemistry, and other related fields.
3-5 years of experience in handling agrochemical development and product registration
Experience in engaging with related external agencies and bodies, such as NAFDAC, NESREA, Customs, and Agro-Research Institutes, is highly preferred.

Negotiations and Interpersonal Communications skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Package (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
